Extra rustic solid oak parquet

Description

This solid wood floor consists entirely of 100% European oak, sourced directly from our own sawmills in Latvia. Unlike engineered parquet (also known as multi-layer or engineered planks), which consists of various glued layers, this floor is crafted from a single solid piece of wood. This ensures unparalleled durability and a floor that can last for generations.

The extra rustic grading is the most characterful choice in our range. The wood shows the tree as it grew in nature, including all the natural imperfections that give the floor its unique charm. Because solid wood is a natural product, it reacts to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. It is therefore essential to allow the planks to acclimatize for at least 5 days in their closed packaging in the room where they will be installed.

You have complete freedom regarding the finish. The floor is delivered untreated, allowing you to choose protection with hardwax oil or varnish. Want even more character? The planks are excellent for surface treatments such as brushing, smoking, or aging. Please note that solid oak is not suitable for installation over underfloor heating, as the wood would expand and contract too much due to the direct heat source.
