If you choose our Classic solid oak parquet, you are choosing a floor that lives. This parquet floor consists of 100% solid European oak, sourced directly from our own sawmills in Latvia. Thanks to the natural properties of the wood, the floor feels wonderfully warm underfoot even in the winter months, offering a great comfort advantage over cold stone floors.

The Classic grading is known for its characterful appearance. The presence of knots and natural color differences gives the floor a unique identity that fits perfectly with both rural and modern living styles. Because it is a completely solid product, the wood reacts to the humidity and temperature in the room. Therefore, it is essential to let the planks acclimate for 5 days in the closed packaging at a temperature between 18-20°C before installation.

A major advantage of this untreated solid floor is the freedom in finishing. You can treat the parquet entirely to your own taste with hardwax oil or varnish. In addition, various surface treatments are possible, such as smoking, brushing, or aging, to give the floor exactly the look you desire. Please note that solid oak is not suitable for installation over underfloor heating due to the natural movement of the wood.
