On-edge lamella, often referred to as industrial parquet, is an extremely robust flooring solution known for its exceptional durability and unique aesthetics. This floor is made of high-quality European oak from Latvia and consists of narrow slats 8mm wide and 10mm thick that are placed vertically. This results in a very stable surface that can withstand intensive daily use.

The Select quality of this oak wood ensures a balanced look. Although the floor retains the natural charm of wood with slight color variations, the overall appearance remains calmer than rustic gradings. For a perfect installation, it is essential that the floor acclimatizes for 5 days in the closed packaging in the room where it will be installed, at a temperature between 18-20°C.

Although on-edge lamella can technically be installed on underfloor heating, Belat points out the risk of movement in solid wood. For a worry-free combination with underfloor heating, we generally recommend our engineered parquet, where layers are glued crosswise for maximum stability. This on-edge lamella floor can be finished to your own taste with various colors of hardwax oil for a custom result.
