The edge grain oak rustic, also known as industrial parquet, is an excellent choice for those looking for a floor that can take a beating. This floor is manufactured from high-quality European oak, sourced from our own sawmills in Latvia. By placing the slats on their side, a very compact and wear-resistant structure is created, ideal for intensively used spaces.

The rustic grading emphasizes the natural beauty of the wood. This means the floor contains knots of unlimited size and natural cracks, contributing to an authentic and robust character. The cracks are at least 80% filled, ensuring the floor maintains its strength while the country charm remains visible. Please note that natural color differences and sapwood are inherent to this grading.

For optimal results, it is essential that the floor acclimates for at least 5 days in the closed packaging in the room where it will be installed. Although edge grain can technically be installed on underfloor heating, our experts at Belat advise choosing an engineered parquet (multi-plank) in that case to minimize the risk of wood movement. This floor can be finished to your own taste with various oils or varnishes for the desired color and protection.
