Description
The 1Bis engineered oak flooring offers the perfect balance between a natural look and a sleek finish. This floor, also known as composite parquet, multi-layer parquet, or oak multi-plank, is built from several layers of wood glued crosswise to each other. The oak top layer provides the authentic look of solid wood, while the birch plywood base layer ensures exceptional stability. As a result, the floor shows significantly less movement than solid parquet.
Thanks to this stable construction, the engineered flooring is ideally suited for installation over underfloor heating and can be glued directly onto a dust-free concrete subfloor. Once installed, the visual difference from a solid plank is unnoticeable, allowing you to enjoy the luxury look of oak with all the technical benefits of a modern multi-layer floor. For optimal results, it is essential to let the floor acclimate for five days in the room where it will be installed.
